The typical dustpan and brush is made up quite heavily of plastic and the bristles themselves are often made from nylon. Nylon is made from oil which not only is a non-renewable source but is also created using an energy-intensive process. This sustainable wooden dustpan and brush is entirely plastic-free and is held together with 2 magnets for easy storage.
The handle is made from FSC certified wood meaning that the timber originates from a forest which is managed in a responsible and sustainable way and the bristles are made from natural Tampico, which is a very resilient and hard-wearing material which keeps its shape without softening.
This brush set comes with a natural twine string and card label and zero packaging.

Being made of FSC® certified beech wood means that the brush is made from wood which has been sustainably sourced. FSC use their expertise to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests, bringing together experts from the environmental, economic and social spheres. They prohibit deforestation, forest degradation and illegal logging in certified areas.
