Rather than cutting down valuable trees to supply the world with something which is used once and then thrown away or flushed, Who Gives a Crap use post-consumer waste paper to make plastic-free recycled toilet paper which contains no inks, dyes or scents.
It comes in 5 bright and funky designs adding a bit of fun to your bathroom and is safe for septic tanks. At just 18.8p per 100 sheets, the 400 sheet 3ply recycled toilet paper is also great value. What’s not to love!
50% of all profits from Who Gives a Crap products go to charity partners who do the vital work of building toilets and improving sanitation in developing countries.
- We’re going to leave this one blank and hope that you don’t need us to tell you!
- Made entirely from waste paper such as recycled books and office paper.
The recycled toilet paper is made from 100% recycled paper such as textbooks, workbooks, office paper and a small percentage is post-industrial paper which are re-purposed offcuts from nearby paper factories.
By using recycled paper to create the toilet tissue rather than cutting down trees, WGAC reduces their CO2 usage and particulate matter emissions, as well as saving water. The recycled toilet paper contains no animal derived ingredients, even the glue is just starch and water, and it is not tested on animals- only on the finest human bottoms.
They are wrapped in tissue paper which keeps them moisture-free and hygienic and are individually wrapped so they don’t have to use thick paper. The net paper used (by weight) to wrap a 6 pack in heavy duty paper vs. six individual rolls in the thin tissue paper is effectively the same, they are then packaged into recycled cardboard boxes.
A shocking 2.3 billion people currently don’t have access to a toilet, that’s 1 in 3 people. For every Who Gives a Crap product sold, 50% of the profits go to charity partners who do the vital work of building toilets and improving sanitation in developing countries.
