The reusable straw is made entirely from 100% food grade stainless steel which is made up of 60% post-consumer recycled stainless steel and comes in a travel case with a key ring to attach it to your bag; ensuring you never leave home without it. The straw extends to 23.5cm and works perfectly with all types of drinks, whether it is your breakfast smoothie or afternoon cup of tea.
At the end of its life the reusable straw is recyclable, but in the meantime you can keep it clean and fresh with an eco-friendly straw cleaner.

Make sure the reusable straw is cleaned properly after every use by rinsing it with warm water, then preferably with a straw cleaner with some soap. It is dishwasher safe.

Zero Waste Club are intent on ensuring that their artisans work in good conditions and good incomes for creating the products. These reusable straws and travel cases are produced in Guangdong, China. The minimum wage in the province is 2,200 RMB per month, the team who make the straws are paid nearly triple the minimum wage at 6,480 RMB per month. They work 9 hours a day, 5 days a week with the option to work on Saturdays if they want to earn some extra money, as well as this they receive health examinations and get benefits.
The straws are 100% plastic free, are vegan and are shipped by sea freight to minimise the carbon footprint. To offset this, a tree is planted for every product sold.
