Who needs cling film and tin foil when we can keep our food fresh in a vegan beeswax wrap made entirely from organic and natural materials? Which means we can worry less about what we’re putting our sandwiches in, and focus more on what we’re putting in them.
Created using vegan wax made up of sumac wax, sunflower wax and rice bran wax mixed with 100% cotton fabric, jojoba oil and pine resin, the food wraps are breathable, washable and reusable and will last for up to a year before they need replacing. Beat that single-use plastic!

You can use the wraps directly on pieces of food or to cover bowls or casserole dishes. Make sure you don’t use them in ovens or microwaves, if you need to soften them at all you can do so by using the warmth of your hands. Make sure you don’t use them with raw fish or meat, but they work wonders on fruit and vegetables!
To wash your wraps:
Each vegan wax wrap is made from organic jojoba oil, pine resin, GMO free and UK sourced sumac wax, sunflower wax, rice bran wax and hydrogenated castor oil. They also use GOTs certified organic fairtrade cotton and organic dyes. All wraps are proudly plant-based, and contain no soy and palm oil.
These vegan beeswax wraps are soy and palm oil free and are made using 100% organic cotton cloth which are GOTS certified (Global Organic Textile Standard) and low impact dyes. The wraps are handmade in the Cotswolds meaning low carbon footprint, they compostable when the time comes to replace them, and the packaging is 100% fully recyclable too. All the ingredients are sourced from the most sustainable sources available and even the wax is manufactured in the UK! Throughout the whole development process the ethics, supply chain and lifecycle was at the forefront of The Vegan Food Company’s mind, and every aspect of the manufacturing of these wraps has been thought about and tested and are the UK’s first to be registered with the Vegan Society.
UK deliveries are £3.50 or free for all orders over £40, and will be with you within 3 – 5 working days. We’ll email you when your order is on the way, with a link to track your delivery with DPD. Unfortunately we don’t ship outside of the UK, yet.
